IN 1869-1911, under 6th Nizam Mahboo Ali Khan, Shadnagar was formed. Maharaja Krishna Pershand was the cheif minister of Hydeabad state in the period of Nizam, Mr Pershad was also a urdu poet, his pen name(taqallus) was ‘SHAD’ by which this place named as Shad nagar. Adjusting to this place (old place)is Farruq Nagar (named after Farruq Siyar, a mughal ruler) old name of the Farruq nagar is Janampet. Its located 49 kmts from Hyderabad city.
